Many state-of-the-art hoisting solutions exist already, ranging from manual chain hoists to electrical hoists using power from the grid. With battery technology improving lately, an alternative energy source could be utilized. Team Gravity Fighters has been given the challenge to develop a new hoisting product for Konecranes. A portable, compact, lightweight hoist that uses a battery as a power source while satisfying demanding lifting needs of customers in different industrial segments. In situations where high voltage power source is nonexistent or in versatile maintenance operations our modular and flexible battery powered hoist can offer new lifting solutions for different needs.
